La piccola PanSTARRS su Bologna
Nonostante abbia deluso le aspettative, la piccola cometa C/2011 L4 PanSTARRS si è fatta ammirare sopra i cieli illuminati di Bologna, anche a occhio nudo. Il dettaglio (magnitudine limite 11) mostra la piccola coda che si estende per circa mezzo grado, con una forma leggermente a ventaglio.
The small PanSTARRS over Bologna
Despite all expectations, the small comet C/2011 L4 PanSTARRS became admired over the light polluted skies of Bologna, even to the naked eye. The box (limiting magnitude 11) shows the small tail that extends for about half a degree, with a slightly fan-shaped form.
